Given one day to shoot six different photography aspects with little editing and whilst having classes until after dark, this is what I came up with.

Sean Knowlton watches television while pretending he is not internally panicking at the possibility of having a double chin that has never matierialized in Lompoc, Calif. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. During the Covid pandemic, my life has very much been the same. Same view, same routine, the same. Lately, with the advent of the vaccine, it has started to perk up. While I still see many of the same views that I have come to see most days in the past year, I did get to attend my son’s graduation in person and complete a long awaited tattoo that I have had my eye on for the past two years. All things that contributed to this photo essay. I guess I got lucky this week.

Room with a view, the sun catcher that keeps my window company for the past year, immediately in my eye line Friday June 11, 2021. (Maggie Knowlton/J-110)
