J-115 Week One photo Journalism Compilation

--

Given one day to shoot six different photography aspects with little editing and whilst having classes until after dark, this is what I came up with.

Sean Knowlton watches television while pretending he is not internally panicking at the possibility of having a double chin that has never matierialized in Lompoc, Calif. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. The assignment, is “Unique Angle or Perspective” taken with an iPhone, no apps. (Maggie Knowlton/J-115)
s Fiona Knowlton looks off camera while her brother watches television in the back ground in Lompoc, Calif. on Wednesday July 7, 2021. The assignment for this was “Foreground/Background.”
Fiona Knowlton, making faces back at the photographer gets caught off gaurd for a moment during the tail end of the assignment in Lompoc, Calif. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.This was the “Framing” portion of the assingment.(Maggie Knowlton/J-115)
Marguerite Knowlton looking on at her desk at Lompoc, Calif. Tuesday, July 6, 2021. The assignment-Enviormental Side-Lit Portrait in front of a gallary of writers of the past. (Maggie Knowlton/J-115)
Fiona Knowlton looking depressed and tired of her mothers shit in Lomopc, Calif. Wednesday, July 7, 2021. The assignment for this was “Repeating pattern” And while she isn’t part of the patern she does disrupt it. (Maggie Knowlton/J-115)
Fiona Knowlton sits at mothers desk and dreams of entering into horrer films in Lompoc, Ca. Wednesday, July 7, 2021. The assignment is for “Symmetry”. (Maggie Knowlton/J-115)

I am least happy with the Symmetry photo, I could never get the light right the reflections in the back ground, just too little time and unwilling partisipants made this a very painful project which sucks because this could have been my favorite one.
